Very bucolic scene...remarcable the way the sun's light vanishes while moving right, is almost night time in the right border!.

Beautiful! I would imagine that this vista would also have been stunning at a faster shutter speed. I would think that the light shimmering on the water would be nice...or not...if it was too bright. The foreground rocks would make a beautiful image by themselves too.

Wow, a signal-womb sunset! This is something I never would have expected from you. But then you knock off this sunset with classic signal-womb style -- UWA for a whole range of stuff from the rocks in the fg, time exposure of the waves in the mg, and a magnificant sky in the bg. You throw in a grad filter to match the exposure between sky and ground... and it works perfectly!

My personal taste would be to clone out, dodge, or crop out that shell (or golf ball) on the bottom.

Hi Stephen,
Excellent sescape composition. You relly caught some unique light here. It all amost appears to be fill flash in the foreground, but it is the sunlight rays. Again, the long exposure shutter speed has created a nice effect on the water. Looks great!

Another superb picture of this magnificent seaside.
I see you preferred the sqare composition again, as opose to the full composition (very nice idea to post it in the WS). This time i think i agree with you and say that the details are shown better here and the part from the lower right corner from the original would have been distractig a bit.
The colors and exposure management here are magnificent, the details are great and sharp throughout the entire frame and the POV excellent.
Just one question: you did use the flash, right? Because it doesn't show that in the photo info, yet the stones have basically no shadow towards you... :)

Anyway, great work once again my friend!

Normally I don't like sunset or sunrise pictures where the source (the sun) is displayed; it is too easy and the colors are too random and unpredictable.
But here you have a nice wide angle view and a very strong composition. Plus the sunlight is doing its job on the water and the stones in a rather smooth way.

Magical light Dear Stephen. I like the POV which makes one's eye follow the rays from the Source to the shiny rock in the lower left while the dark rock in the sea watches the whole process under a perfect blue sky. Great shot.

Hi Steve,
Your typical crop does often show us a lot more then the original version. This is another great example, since most interest is on the left side of the composition. Your control on exposure is superb, considering the slow shutter speed for the motion in the water at the risk of over exposing the sun. I'm sure the filter has helped, but still.
The mood captures is beautiful.
