One of my favourite places is the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge which connects a small fishing island to the mainland, and with a 80 ft drop only the brave cross it. This bridge is a mecca for people who put their nerves to the test.

In the background you will see the familiar shape of Fair Head which I have featured often in my posts. I positioned myself accordingly so I could pull it in closer to the rope bridge using Tele compression.

Dodging and burning are steps to take care of mistakes God made in establishing tonal relationships. ~Ansel Adams

Splendid shot, Steve!
I really like the compo here with both of these impressive places in the frame. Also the use of the sepia does well to stregthen the emotion of that nerv-wrecking pass :)
Great job!

Bravo and TFS

Hi Steve,
Excellent effect and I like the supporting quote :)
Very nice view/comp and the "tonal" relationships look appealing to me. The two ants in that crevice give good scale as well ;)
Have a good rest of the week..& don't work too hard mf..

Hi Steve,
Glad to see this photo, because it is giving me a more time to look at it then during the episode from coast. It is also great to see you used this lens, since I am thinking about buying it for the purpose you just used it for.
Great work on the transition to this sepia like tone. The quote form Ansel Adams fits perfectly.
TFS,
Niek
