Patagonian Crested Duck
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| The Patagonian Crested Duck is found in shallow coastal regions throughout the Falklands, where it forages for invertebrates and marine algae. Sexes are similar in appearance. Although less numerous than other Falkland marine ducks, they are not considered threatened and have an extensive breeding range in South America. |

Hi Sky.
Very nice picture of this calm scene. I also like the quality of the shot: excellent sharpness, nice natural colours, impressive upper POV and very good composition. My compliments and TFS.

Hello Sky,
Fine capture of a species of duck new to me, the Patagonian Crested Duck. It never occurred to me that the Falklands are a part of the UK.
Nice sharplely caught action scene presented in a good compo.
TFS and best wishes, Ivan
