| This is a yellow poppy which grows all over my back garden (if you don't pull it up!). My mother calls them 'Californian Poppies' and indeed they originally came from her garden when other plants were transplanted. A few of them are orange or have orange tinges. This photo came about as a result of mottled light conditions because of the trees above the flowers. It was one of the first photos I took with my new camera. |
