Scottish Hare spotted around the Lochnagar Massif, Southern Cairngorms. He had his winter fur and therefore he was easy to follow.
Nevertheless, as I was far from him, I had to use a 420mm focal length, and with the crappy viewfinder of my camera, it wasn’t that easy to spot him, especially with all those rocks.
Fortunately I got this shot, not a great quality shot but still ok.
Hope you like it,
Damien |

Dear Damien
I like this picture very much. It shows the hare in context - you get a sense of its size and environment. Much more interesting than a picture where the hare filled the frame.

Hi Damien,
a fantastic shot! i am staying in the Cairgorms next week and have fingers crossed i will see an Arctic Hare, maybe even a Ptarmigan if i'm lucky..i love the setting you have caught him (her) in here, amongst the boulders...great work

That's a fine hare image.
Excellent composition on the mountainside. good placement within the frame and good action.
