[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This lonely seal pup was photographed at Auchmithie which is just north of Arbroath. It had been lying on the beach by itself with no family members in the vicinity. You can see it it suffering from conjunctivitis in it's right eye. After a while a local SSPCA officer had a look and encouraged the pup back into the water.
