[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I saw this bird this morning in Oban. it was sitting on the edge of the sea wall and there were about 8 or 9 other birds of the same species in the same place. The birds were not wary of the people on the sea front and I was able to get within 2 feet of it to take some photographs. This female bird was later joined by a male and they began their mating ritual.

Thanks to everyone who replied about the name of this bird. It is a black guillemot.
