| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
A fog lingers over the wood and snowdrops. Without wishing to sound too soppy, my heart sings at the first sight of this little flower. Spring is on its way and they are our first herald.
Among the earliest plants to flower, the Snowdrop first pushes its slender grey-green leaves up through the are earth, and these are closely followed by the flower stalks. Each bears a solitary white flower with three spreading sepals, and three much shorter notched petals streaked green on the inside. Leaves continue to grow from the bulbs after flowering. |

HI Bev,
Hope your Snowdrops made it through the snow and ice! Great colours and composition,
Thanks,
Paul
Hi Bev,
I just love the mood captured in this photo. The foggy BG where the trees slowly disappear is just perfect. The white flowers in the FG act like a great focal point but still let me wonder through the forrest.

This is such a gentle image, but I am stunned to see so much green this early in the year.
Beautiful composition with great colours and details
