The barn owl, one of Britains most common species. As with many animals their numbers have been declining throughout the years due to the disappearance of their natural habitat. Although it has been reported that their decline is slowing.

Truely one of natures silent killers.

Lovely head portrait, the feather detail is nice and sharp, and the colours are great with a good blurry BG.

Cool owl portrait, Bryan!
I think you missed some details on white area (middle & right side) the eye are totally black (like no life there) which takes a lot from your wonderful model. Try to use flash next time ISO-100 and experiment with different F/stop and you will get better result. Sometimes photoshop can help a lot too, like removing the noise from BG...
