Ben Nevis Panorama- view on the south
 |

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Hello!
Many thanks for good comments about my last post from the same place. Today I wanted to present panoramic view on the south side from the top of Ben Nevis. Below You can see thin, white line- it is waterfall in Glen Nevis, really big one:)
One minus from the fact that picture was taken from the highest point in Britain(?)- everything around looks flat;) But that's how it is...
Original picture is merged from 5 single shots- it has 10086x2520 pix size. I didn't want to use any noise removing tool to not loose any details. Resizing and file size limit for TN is enough;) so it can looks quite noisy.
I hope You will like this one too.
Thanks a lot for watching and commenting.

Hi Adrian,
Very nice panoramic capture. Excellent blue in the sky. Just a little dark towards the center of the picture however i understand that increasing the light may have taken away details in the sky.

Hi Adrian
A lovely panorama - very well composed and realised. The reason the scene looks flat is that the whole area was cob=vered bu ice during one of the recent ice ages and the level of the land represents the bottom of the ice sheet. If the ice had been there long enough, eventually everything would have been totally flat (though it would have taken sever hundreds of thousands of years).

Another great panorama from the roof of the Uk Adrian.
A nice range of colour tones and good deprth of field.
I guess it would have taken you a few hours to walk up there and a few to walk down ?
Cheers

Hi Adrian, nice panoramic with a lovely view. Excellent POV and thanks for sharing.
DEan.
Lovely panoramic, especially the detailed arteries of snow juxtaposed to the sides of the mountaintops. Would like to see some more detail in the landscape lost to the shadows.
See my workshop.
TFS!
