Squirrels seem to never go out of fashion!
But then they are very photogenic...
Like this little fellow, good pose and a wonderfully well groomed fur coat!
I like the composition, colours are the usual Nikon quality...

Hello Gary
That about the rain is nothing new indeed.
In the Netherlands we do have a lot of water coming from above, but compared to what you overthere have to stand out, it's nothing.
It's great that altough you do have so many rainy days, you do come up with wonderful images over and over again. My compliments to that because if it does rain overhere, I, most of the times, are not going out with my camera at all.
Lovely image this is with the red squirrel looking at you with a smile on it's face.
Excellent composition and DOF, but in this image I do miss a little sharpness and details in the fur of the squirrel and tree.
I also think that the tail is a little over exposed.
I did rework the image a little in photoshop.

"Raining again today"

Now why doesn't that surprise me? 'Tis Scotland! A beautiful and almost as posed picture. Great color work and wonderful depth of field..notice I use the whole combination of words....never assuming someone who is new might see DOF and decide to save server space...

Wow Gary, you captured a good looking guy in this image. It is beautiful. What a lovely fluffy tail and the cutest of faces. You capture it at a perfect moment. The quality of the image is superb. I like the workshop with the other little guy peeking around the corner too. Nice.

Hi Gary,
You caught a really photogenic squirrel. The way she looks at feels like she either in love with you or with the camera. I do agree with Harry on the light in the BG, and like his WS. Still the quality of the photo is already there.

Hi Gary, sorry I missed some of your recent shots and this one is a cracker! So nice to see a Red Squirrel. I love how you give them names, deservedly so as they are individual characters. I love the shot of them both. This is a great composition with Cyrril's friend nested into the tree branch looking at you. A perfect pose and pov showing all of the squirrel's detail and markings. Good focus, great colours and nice and sharp with good catchlihgt in the eye, good dof.
Would love to see another one of Cyril.
