Hi Emma and a warm welcome back!
Nice to see another splendid picture from you!
Congrats on your new lens and filter...they seem to produce an amazing quality in your hands :)
The composition here is outstanding and it balances the two main elements very well: the sky with it's terrific clouds and the water with some beautiful rocks emerging here and there. In between them - the fantastic mountains that watch over the entire area :) Superb!
I really like the wide-angle view here and also the great saturation the polarizer gave you.
The textures on the rocks from the FG are also magnificent and the excellent DOF gave you some exceptional details allover.
Bravo and TFS

Hi Emma,
Wonderful wide-angle effect with the presence of the clouds. Balanced fore- and background, coupled with the reflection, gives a very nice composition. I'm impressed by the size of the filter, too. Well done. Regards,

Hi Emma.
What a wonderful picture skillfully taken with wide lens. The pictured scene is really amazing. I don't know where is sky and where is water. Terrific reflections. Transparency of the shot, clearness and beautifulness of colours, sharpness of the whole image are great. Superb art work. Bravo and my congratulations.

Hello Emma, this is a beautiful, prize winning shot! It is perfect in every way, balance and perspective is excellent. The colours are deep and vibrant and the reflections crystal clear. Having the rocks in the foreground really give it an organic and wild feel. The polarising filter did its job. Excellent composition.

Hi Emma,
You've eliminated the difference between water and sky. A mix of underwater and over air clouds makes a very beautiful and fantastic view. Light is also great too.

Hi Emma,
Don't those wide angled lenses do amazing things to clouds? The images become so dramatic. There is just so much movement drawing one into the scene. Sharpness and natural color are wonderful.

Hello Emma,
Wonderful landscape - the clouds producing drama and the still water peace. Excellent DOF, sharpness and beautiful colours. I like the warm sunlight on the stones in the foreground and the cold feeling of the white line of ice. (I think the name "Clach" must originate from the Vikings. One of our favourite nature spots here is called Sondre Klack, a steep hill!)
TFS and best wishes, Ulla
Hi Emma,
excellent shot from one of the most beautiful parts of our country. You've made my mind up, i'm going to the mountains this weekend! Perhaps Wales...
May i ask what price you paid for that w/a lens of yours? i am looking to get the same at the moment.
Hope to see some more like this form you.

Hello Emma,
The rich colours are very eye-catching!
Strong foreground interest gives a great feeling of depth, and it is amazing to see a mountain lake this calm and providing for the fine reflection of the sky...
A view like this never gets boring!!

Hi Emma,
Your absence is about as simular as mine. Just too busy with work and other things that I have not enough enery left to sit behind a screen after I come back from work. You atleast visited a stunning place.
This is another wonderful photo of a stunning view. The combination of the morning frost, the clarity of the view and the wonderful sky topped by the wonderful landscape is just blows my mind. I really hope to see it with my own eyes, but then with summer colors. Wonderful work on the exposure and composition.

I've looked at clouds from both sides now
From up and down, and still somehow
It's cloud illusions I recall
I really don't know clouds at all ***
Loverly shot, not to say "cool" shot!
I also like the 50 50 here! Brave! Tfs, Jay

Hello Emma,
What a beautiful scene you have captured here! The like shapes of the rocks in the fore and middle grounds is perfect, and the reflections are an added bonus to a serene and beautiful image. Excellent choice of depth and capture of light with the Gradual Density Filter.
