Created 20,000 years ago by glacier movement, the moor spans 12,800 acres. At approximatley 1000ft it is an upland plateau scattered with numerous lochs, lochans, peat bogs and streams. It is surrounded by mountains, some reaching over 3000ft

Hi Marc too bad I went for Nikon, really outstanding your landscape pictures, full frame does a great job, alltough its the one who helds the camera still counts most .. Framing is nice here as well, not too obvious. Looking forward to see more of your posting, great to see Scoteland from a wide perspective. TFS Reina
