Another shot of a seal at Dunvegan on the Isle of Skye. At Dunvegan Castle you can take a very cheap boat trip that lasts about 20 minutes to get closer to the seals which chill out on the tiny islands in the loch. This shot was taken from the moving boat with a 300mm lens.

Very-very nice. I like the sharpness and the the expression you caught in his eyes. :)

I like this simple composition Matthew. I like that the habitat is included but not so much that it detracts from your seal. The image has nice impact, and good sharpness and exposure.

What a fantastic capture, Matthew.
Love the frontal POV, the eye contact, the wonderful details on that cute face.
Very sharp and well exposed.
And I also like the fact that he is resting in a bed of kelp, giving us a good view of his land habitat.

Nice shot with good deatil and colour saturation. The POV is really good, being at eye level with the seal. Have you done any of the trips from Elgol?
