Hi Miles,
sounds like my idea of hell. We get a similar scene around Durdle Door and Lulworth, but not to this extent thank god. It suprises and saddens me to hear that photographers can act as careless and irresponsibly as this though.
Anyway, a great shot from a familiar spot, a nice take on this scene. The brown tones and pale sea and sky are great.

I think this is not a place for holidays...
Very good work, great sharp and detail, composition is very good too.
Lovely capture Miles.
The long exposure gives this landscape a real mood.
Do you ever run into Stephen Emerson (Signal-Womb) on your travels.
You seem to do similar shots of some of the same places.
I guess you know each other do you ?

Hi Miles,
a stunning capture of this moody scene.
+++ You've exposed it perfectly to capture the sea with an effective blur.
Superb lighting and colours.
Great sharpness and detail.

Hi Miles!
Very nice! I really like this shot. The composition is very good, and the DOF and detail sharpness also! Well done! I see that someone here mentioned SignalWomb, and I agree - you seem to have similar interests when it comes to photography. And you both pull it off in an excellent way!

A fantastic moment, Miles, the water is so silky and the atmosphere a little dark and mystic - but soooo wonderful, thanks

Gorgeous capture of an extraordinary place.
A shame that people pretending to love nature, making the effort to reach such a place are that careless and ignorant.
I carry bags with me and pick up trash when I see it. Little more that one can do. You however did very well with this image! Cheers, Klaus

Hi Miles
You have a really strange light on this picture with a glint off the rocks on the right. Seems the weather was very heavy. shame about the impact some people have on our landscape. It is not an area I have been to on Skye so it is interesting to read your notes... I have been to several other areas where there have been queues of photographers and have usually left without any shots or sort some other angle completely.
