[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Quirang is one of the truly amazing places in Scotland. Located in the Northern part of the Isle of Skye. I had the opportunity to photograph there a few times and I'm certainly looking forward to return one day. Taken last November in a windy sunrise that was not sure it would provide any colors but on this occasion I was lucky enough. This is the way Scottish weather is, very unpredictable which in return makes it interesting.

Un paysage qui fait rêver..pas de traces humaines à vue d'oeil. Magnifique le plateau recouvert de végétation, à droite. Belle atmosphère d'avant l'hiver. Je viens de regarder ton site et je dois te féliciter. Tu es un vrai pro, à ce que je vois.

What a stunning landscape photo. Great DOF with sharp visual and great colour impact. The small river in the foregroung runs into the image and leads one into the image. Great shot.

Nice to meet you and i congratulate you for this gorgeous shot to begin your gallery here. I've checked your website and it's full of fabulous shots and interesting info. My compliments for all your work!

This is a terrific shot of this amazing place: The Quirang from the Isle of Skye. The sunrise you were given here is definitely deserved for your good planing and early wake-up :)
The colors in the sky are absolutely awesome and the overall exposure is balanced superbly. I take it you used some filters, too for that - perhaps a polarizer and a ND grad. :)
Anyway, the composition is also splendid, with the edgy cliffs on the right and the smaller lakes or ponds there in the lower part - positioned perfectly to bring some more light into a darker part of the frame.
The tones everywhere - even in the foreground - are terrific and the perspective from this high point of view is breathtaking.
Overall: a stunning piece of work and one that definitely makes me curious for more.
