Ben Lui and the River Cononish
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Crystal-clear days like this in the Scottish Highlands are rare... so I ventured to just south of the village of Tyndrum one day in March 2006 to, in my opinion, one of the finest hills anywhere in the UK. Ben Lui, in the centre background, is 1130m (3707ft) high and its profile is quite striking from this view along the River Cononish. And its blanket of snow that day really capped it. One of my favourites. |

Hello Stuart,
a most beautiful scenery of snow covered highgland hills on a brilliantly clear winter day. The low point of view has created dramatic depth. Black stones and deep shadows and the sun reflected by the river add to the brilliance of light.
Thank you! With best regards,
Peter
