Well composed, I like the POV and pose with the puffin's mouth full of nesting material..The droplets of rain atop the head add well also.
Great detail in the head & beak, with this natural close environment framing the subject nicely :)

Here in Holland it is not much better with the weather.

What a superb capture of this image of a Puffin collecting its nesting material James. Puffin's to me never look quite real, they always seem to looks so perfect. Excellent image, I'm impressed.

Hi James, what I like about this one is how you've captured the Puffin in his natural habitat, busy. He's actually doing something here. The composition looks very natural. The light and colour for the conditions are very good. Call it play, but I've opened a workshop thinking I might be able to provide a little more contrast, and lighten his face a bit, to provide you with another option.
