[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A massive overhanging piece of Jurassic sedimentary cliff on Elgol Beach. It is famous for the honeycomb effect on the lower strata where the rock has "weathered out".

The brightly coloured stones on the shelve have no doubt be placed there I was reluctant to remove them. One thing I love about this location was the wide and varied geology of the place. The shapes, colours and textures of the rocks are wonderful

Hi Stephen

You present us a wonderful landscape picture. I like the low point of view very much and I'm impressed by the depth. The sharpness and the lighting are perfect, the overall impression very pleasant. It would be interesting to know the exposure datas.

Kind regards

Markus

The little rocks do look a bit staged but overall the image is very impressive. There is just so much to look at... all sharp and perfectly exposed. You do wonderful work.

Hi Steven!

Another great place, another great photo. As always perfect DOF and composition, very well exposured, with good colours. I like light - partially sunny, partially covered with shadows. Thousands of different stones look also great.

It does look like an awesome place Steve.
Very similar to some spots near here ... but much calmer sea there.
Another excellent capture.
Steve

Hi Steve,
Who ever put those stones down there, did have an eye for art. They somehow seem to make this flat piece of rock much more interesting. The two red stones do create some good contrast with the overall blue colors of the rest of photo. The honeycone structure of the in the wall are very beautiful and cleary show the reason people want to visit this location. You again managed to expose this photo so excellently. The high and low tones are all in perfect shape, and the clarity and details are superb.
TFS,
Niek

Wow!
I like much this composition, the diffuse light on the pebbles, the whitish rock with the coloured ones as a mirror of the sea and the brightest parts of the frame..
Lovely
