[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The most Westerly point on the Isle of Skye, giving excellent views over Moonen Bay to Waterstein Head and out over the Minch to the Western Isles.

The point is said to be the best place on Skye to see whales, dolphins and porpoises. The sea around the point is teeming with sea-birds including gannets, black guillemots, razorbills and shags. I have posted this composition because the lighthouse is such a small detail here. Neist Point is a must see place if you are in Skye.

Hello Stephen,

This is a fabulous shot taken from a great POV! I like the rugged textures, the iridescent light, the fine composition and that little building at the end of the promontory is the final finishing touch!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Stephen,
This is an outstanding capture of this beautiful rocky coastline. The light is gorgeous and I love the DOF with the lighthouse at the far end of the rock and the cloud formations beyond. Wonderful colours and great sharpness in this lovely composition.
Many thanks, Ulla

Bonjour Stephen,

Une superbe prise de cet endroit magnifique. J'aime la profondeur avec ce phare au bout de cette pointe et les belles couleurs.
Merci!

Hello Stephen,
Superb landscape shot of this Isle of Skye headland in amazing lighting. Great perspective aided not only by the POV but the cloud formation to give a marvellous composition. Where the clifftop meets the horizon there is small lighter area, which may be a coincidence or some digital effect.
Great shot anyway,
TFS,
Ivan

Hi Stephen,
another great location, you lucky man, don't know how missed this place when i was there! Huge (and i do mean huge!) sense of depth here with the eye being led on a wonderful journey right through to the impressive looking headland in the BG. Exposure looks like it might have been a bit tricky due to the changability of the conditions in this kind of environment but clearly not a problem for yourself here. Very well done ineed,
Paul
