[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I'm sure everybody knows this small, colourfull bird. Robin (Erithacus rubecula) is very popular in British Islands also common in other parts of Europe, Asia and North Africa.
This little guy just wanted to be photographed. I meet him during the walk in Glen Nevis near Fort William. I spent about 30 minutes trying to take some sharp shoot- not only because of cloudy weather- he is extreme fast and always in move, catching insects, checking his teritory. Robin is one of my favourite bird- so elegant and nice looking. I hope You like them too.

Hello Adrian.

Welcome to TN.
A little late I know, but I did'nt notice your presence before.
Beautiful image of this lovely small bird you are showing us here.
Love the way you've captured the Robin in it's natural habitat.
Excellent technical details with great sharpness, exposure and depth of field.
Wonderful soft light, colors, pose of the bird and details in the feathers.
Very well done. Thanks for sharing.

Best regards, Harry

wonderful capture - congrats and welcome to T.N.!!

hello Adrian

welcome to TN,

you did a very beautiful image of this lovely bird,
fine Point of View (POV), excellent framing, i love that
in the framing you leaved a good space at the left side
of the bird, the Depth of Field (DOF) is excellent,
great eye-contact of the bird with you,
great sharpness and details,

i almost have the same camera as your's, my camera
lets say is the little sister of your's, i have the
Fujifilm FinePix S6000fd, i am amazed that you shooted
at only 1/25 seconds and you got a pefect sharpness,
my Fuji not having image stabilizer i can not shoot
with as low speed,

Thanks For Sharing (TFS) this excellent image

Hi Adrian

Excellent close up shot of the Robin.
Nicely composed with the level POV and I love the pose with the Robin looking straight at you.
The feather detail is nice and sharp.
Well saturated colours and nice light.

Hello Adrian,
you have showed a very interesting picture of a robin. The posture is very exciting and the image is sharp. the blurred background push the contrast of the pix making it very clear and noticeable. The feathers are detailed and the eyesa are very sharp. You added more by having the picture of the mushrooms . it is educational as well as very photgraphic.

Regards,
Foozi

Hello Adrian,
It is not very scared apparently. On the contrary.
These are his mushrooms, I guess:-)
Wonderful quality. Amazing 1/25 shutter speed.
Well done

A beautiful photo of a robin (petirrojo in spanish = chest red). I've always liked photography of birds, but I do not have the necessary equipment or enough patience. You have succeeded, no doubt, an excellent shot.
Congratulations.

Hi Adrian,

I so wish we had these beautiful little Robin in the US. This one is just lovely with the sweetest expression on his face. Beautiful colors and the plummage is wonderful. I love the blowing feathers and the natural setting.
