Hello Trekkers!
No animal today but nature in landscape.
Panoramic shot of Loch Tarff, near Fort Augustus & Loch Ness in the Highlands of Scotland. Late afternoon light added nice tones to the scene so I stopped by on my way to Fort William and took several shots. The road B862 is going just next to this small loch (lake) so it is easily accesible and worth visiting. If you are there it is worth to follow the road a little bit further up north to the top of the hill called Suidhe Chuimein (Cumin's seat), with fantastic views of vast area of moors and hills.
Panoramic shot stitched from 6 vertical shots.
RAW mode used, Circular Polarizer filter and tripod.
I hope you will like it,
thanks for any critiques and comments,
Tomasz.

P.S. Beacuse the image proportions weren't 'panoramic' enough it didn't allow me to upload larger version here. I have uploaded the bigger version on Trek Earth so if anybody is interested you can have a look here:

Hi Tomasz,

This is an attractive wide angle shot. I like the super sharpness in the foreground and the clouds leading deep into the scene. Nice work.

Hi Tomasz.
Wonderful light used on this landscape giving beautiful colour and detail to the image, exposure is perfect.
Excellent stitch of your 6 shots giving us the large view of Loch Tarff. Love the composition using the edge of the water to take us into the image and the clouds bring the view down onto the landscape.

Hello Tomasz,
This is a very charming landscape picture from Scotland. The Loch surrounded by beautiful hills and flower-studded slopes looks amazingly beautiful. The cludy sky with a blue rent in it also adds a great dimesion to the image.
Of course, you can upload the larger version, which I would love to look at. Please do read the specifications about size etc. from FAQs on the site.
Regards.

Hi, Tomasz,

a wonderful capture of a beautiful landscape with an excellent composition. I like the way you included the purple flowers on the two sides into the photo.

also, many thanks for the Indian Palm Bob workshop. very useful pointers. thanks a lot!!

from your "intro" page, you state that you are a graphic designer, photographer and musician (3 in 1 ;-). haha, I am also 3 in 1 - I'm going to become a medical doctor next year, and I was a journalist (a writer) for the Associated Press and I was an architectural graduate.

have a nice day!!

Very good landscape, nice composition and natural colours

Bonjour Tomasz,

Pozdr
Adrian

Hello Tomasz,
Very beautiful panorama of this Scottish landscape. The large version is just great. Good point of view chosen, the little waves in the foreground let us almost feel the little breeze which was blowing over this exceptional area.
Thanks so much
Anne
