Hello,
Today another scottish loch - Loch Laidon and Black Mount, Rannoch Moor, Scotland, UK
A place of very unique atmosphere, great mixture of weather conditions and excellent spot for taking photographs. Within few hours you can experience four seasons, from sunny wetaher to dreadful windy rainfalls. This morning was very dull so I almost decided to drive back home, fortunately and suddenly weather has improved so I drove to this loch as I knew it from the past it can be very good for photographing reflections, I wasn't dissapointed at all. Low clouds still covered the peaks of Black Mount but there was enough light to take pleasant photos, the water was very calm giving nice and clear reflections of the surrounding landscape. I love the Rannoch Moor area in late August / September - the colours of the moors are absolutely beautiful with nice touch of pink-blooming heather. The only thing I don't like are the midges - little flying creatures constantly biting every single bit of uncovered body. I went back home with face full of red spots from the bites and (fortunately) cards full of interesting photographs...
Highly recommended to visit and photograph!
Thanks for any critiques,
best regards and have a good day!
Tomasz

Beautiful place, wonderful reflections and sky

Hi Tomasz!

I love this nature with the wild and untouched aspect. I also love the atmosphere created by the delicious sky and highlighted by the reflections in the water. The indirect light gives this landscape the perfect lighting for natural colours.

Well seen, well done!

Kind regards

Markus

Hi Tomasz,
I know exactly where you were standing when you took this photo. I am glad you decided to go and create this wonderful photo. The moody sky fits the scenery perfectly and allowed for a shaddow free exposure. I like the blooming of the heater in this photo a lot. It adds just that bit more of color in the overall green environment.

Niek

Hej!

Bardzo ładne ujęcie tego dość popularnego drzewka...niesamowicie muszą wyglądać łany kwitnących na fioletowo wrzosów, świetny kontrast niebo/ziemia, brak miejsc prześwietlonych. Ciekawe zdjęcie, dużo detali.

Pozdrawiam
Adrian

Bonjour Tomasz,

Witaj Tomaszu!

czesami i przy niezbyt ciekawym świetle można wyczarować interesującą fotkę. Uzyskałeś znakomity mglisty nastrój i świetne technicznie zdjecie mimo niesprzyjającej pogody

Pozdrawiam
Jacek

Hallo Thomasz
This really looks like a hidden paradise and just the place one would like to escape when the daily rat race just get too much. Very well composed, with excellent colours and sharpness. Amazing clarity and detail in this shot. I envy you for being so close to nature and being able to capture a shot like this one. The whole scenery looks so peaceful and creates a relaxing mood. I would not mind to go and hide away there for a few days, just enjoying the fresh air and admiring the wonderful nature.
Kind regards.
Anna

Hi Tomasz

I love the weather and the composition in this picture. It is an area I know well having spent most of my childhood holidays in the area... I am back there for 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year as well... when the midge are usually all dead!

What I really like about this picture, is the non-standard composition for this Lochan and the colours... great atmosphere.

TFS
Emma
