nice capture of the pretty black & white Common Guillemot (Uria aalge) in form of the "bridled guillemot", which has a
white ring around the eye extending back as a white line. It is said that this is not a distinct subspecies, but a polymorphism which becomes more common the farther north the birds breed. anyway, great clear portrait with wonderful eye-contact. well done & best wishes, thor.
