A lovely scene making me feel very homesick...still, will be back for Christmas!
The layered effect here is just wonderful and although have seen similar many times I've never been able to capture it like this. Awesome, very well done!

Hi Paul
The eye is well directed in this image. The curves, the balance, the tones/sepia likeness, the mist rising from the land and wrapping around the coniferous trees, the lighting and the details throughout this scene are well defined. This is an extraordinary superb capture with alot of thought and precision. Congratulations on this piece. I would love to se this mounted on a blackboard, but, hey, I'm not over there to see this. I'm sure this will become a wall hanger in someone's home.
Cheers bro
Mike

Paul, what a stunning forest-scape. Those layers witht the mist in between looks great especially as the light hits them. I love the colour/tone. Well captured, TFS

Hi Paul!
Another fantastic shot from Scotland. Very arty and moody. I love composition with lines of trees, curtains of light rays and mist. Beautifull. Sepia is perfect choice.

Hi Paul
Another magnificent view for this lovely place!
Unlike the last one which was a much closer to the trees view, this one instantly reminded me about "The 13th Warior" - a great picture and a great film.
Again the composition here is amazing, with all these slopes and trees reaching out of the mist.
The light is also impecable, the liniar shadows are fantastic and the details are very nice and sharp.
Bravo and TFS

Very nice... a sight memorable.
A good natural effect the mist provided, making this picture even more interesting. Choice of sepia is good.
I would like to wake up to a scenery like this. Too bad all ihave here are buildings, roads and more buildings in construction. City life...

You have created an image of great artistic beauty, Paul.
The point of view takes into its ambit a vast stretch of valleys filled with swirling mist. The sepia colour tone is just perfect here.
Those elongated shadows of trees seen from your perspective are simply magical.
Thanks for sharing this really beautiful image.

Hi Paul
I would have something like this on my wall. It is more like a painting than a photo. Wonderful lines, tones and light.

Hi Paul,
A superb landscape. The framing in the vertical format is perfect for this shot. This allowed you to capture the numerous layers of trees and mist on the hills. The conversion to the sepia tone really looks great here.

Hi Paul
The scene is quite awesome and the conversion to sepia really done justice to its wonderful mood. The amazing effect of the sunlight and the alternating streaks of shade piercing through the fog makes for rather interesting and pleasant viewing. When one scroll through the photo, the multiple layers of high- and low ground and the manifold facets of the rolling hills gives the shot a never ending feel.
The composition is great, the details were well captured, and the exposure was perfect.
Very well done and TFS.
Regards

Hi Paul,
A very nice and ballanced combination of highlights and shadows! The sepia hues create a very nice atmosphere! I would have been tempted to use a wide angle lens on this landscape and thus missing all those beautiful details you captured. You did an excellent job! Thanks!
Regards,
Eddie
