The poppies were just beginning to burst out of their skins. I tried to blur the background and got in close for this macro shot. Scanned negative. Cropped slightly and added border in photoshop. Didn't make note of FN or SS - sorry...

Hi Lesley,

A nice start, welcome to TN. I've never seen a poppy in this stage of it's life so it's interesting, a nice shot with excellent detail and colours. It would be nice to see the maximum image size the site allows (800 pixels).

I read your intro and I think you'll enjoy yourself here, there are plenty of very helpful people here to learn from, so welcome again and I look forward to seeing more of your work!
