[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken last year on August Bank Holiday. After a great days walking in the Glyders, we descended back to the car via The Devils Kitchen and Lyn Idwal.
The peak shown here is called Tryfan, it's fine north ridge jutting out into the Ogwyn Valley. It is famous amongst those who love the fine art of Scrambling, a grey area between hillwalking and climbing that requires a steady head and alot of energy! An ascent up it's north ridge is pretty straight forward, but with some traditional welsh weather chucked in it can become interesting!
This is my favourite part of Wales :o)

(this has scanned in from a print - thanks for the reminder Niek!)

Hi Paul,
lovely location and good framing :D
Cheers,
Vishal Sabharwal

Hi Paul,
I assume this is a scanned photo, since there is some noise in the sky and a blurry spot at the peak of the mountain. The view is spectacular and what I really like about the photo is the way the waves roll into the shoreline.
TFS,
Niek
