my my what a brilliant capture, excellent sharpness, DOF and detail,
love the colours especially, I have a few shots of the kingfisher, but I guess a faster lens is on my next purchase :P

Hi Andrew
Good stuff to read how you managed to make good use of a bramble bush. I never heard of one being positively utilised since the 'burning bush'.
Your capture of this little 'fisher king' is absolutely marvellous. The composition is excellent and the colours are brilliant. The DOF is great with excellent details on the bird. The BG is well removed and OOF and the exposure was perfectly managed.
Very well done and TFS.
