Nice shot! You've captured this swan well. I really like the reflections, and the image projects a feel of calm serenity - I don't know why swans seem serene in photographs, in reality they're just a large amount of hissing, flapping, anguish with wings ;)
My biggest nit is the swan itself seems quite overexposed, not sure whether that's capture or post-process related, but your histogram view should have shown that - there's nothing much we can do in post-process to get the clipped highlights back, unless it's RAW in which case you may stand a chance with some of it. My best advice? Always check your histogram when shooting a bright subject on a dark(ish) background! Whenever I shoot a subject like this I always dial in -1 stop exposure compensation before I take the shot, otherwise unless you have spot-metering, you'll blow the highlights...
Despite that, it's a nice capture :-)
I would agree that the swan is over cooked, and has lost all feather detail in the whites there. Also, the reflection is a little chopped up, a really calm evening with minimal wind ripples would have worked better. Maybe another time?

Hello David!
Very nice capture.POV,pose of swan, reflection on water and composition are wonderful.I think, feathers are a little overexposed, but it's very difficult to get better details on white.I like this work a lot.TFS...:-)

Good try on this.I find the swan to be a bit over exposed. The reflection would have been better if you had picked a calmer day. Nice shot though.
