[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Good morning everyone,

Thank goodness the sun is shining again in Lancashire! It isn't very warm but at least the sun makes you feel happy!

This morning I am posting a snail. It is quite a small snail but a very acrobatic one! I was amazed that it could attach itself to such a fragile stem. In fact, I wondered why it wanted to go up such a stem which obviously had no leaves to eat!
Perhaps someone will be able to enlighten me!

The snail was captured in Carew, Pembrokeshire, Wales.
Quite near the castle, there is a designated nature trail. Whilst there, we managed to see a multitude of wild flowers and some butterflies. We also saw a lizard! I have never before seen a lizard in the U.K. but, unfortunately I was unable to get a good shot of it. Although not good, I will post the shot just for your interest in a w/s.

I have no idea why a snail would climb a plant (though I have seen it surprisingly high in trees).

Hi Beverley. Good shot of the snail. I read they can sleep for up to two years at a time. so it might be up there for a long time yet.i like the compostion , with a nice POv.all in a nice frame. Well done TFs.

Very artistic shot and a good one at that. what is the snail doing on a dried plant with dried flowers? Superb lighting and the image is sharp and neat. Against the BG it looks majestic. Excellent POV and DOF. Very nicely composed. Kudos.
