Very nice POV and composition. Color on the breast is so pretty, but there's a bit too much contrast; the black area not showing enough detail so the eye is lost. The white a little ... what's the term I'm looking for, blown out? I am new enough to photography to appreciate the difficulties of shooting a black and white bird and getting the exposure right. I have the same problem and one of these days hope to figure it out myself.. :-) But it's a nice effort and TFS.

A warm welcome to TN, Jessy.
That is a very strange looking bird.
Your exposure is perfect, with sharp details and good light.
I have never seen an eider in real life. So pretty.
Merci pour le partage. : )
