Hi Emma,
This is a glorious sunrise, as I haven't seen any of your others I think this one is special. The colours are just fantastic and yes the tree looks great too. Nice.
Cheers,
Debbie

Hi Emma,
well it must be that time of year again for your marvelous tree to make it's debut for 2007 ;o) And very nice to see it again too. Sunrises and sunsets are often overlooked as being a bit obvious, but i think in this case, with the relevance of the tree this is a special photo. Of course it's a great shot in it's own right too.
Thanks for sharing,
Paul

Hello Emma,
As far as I'm concerned you can photograph this tree everyday! One thing about the earth and the sky it changes daily and each day a new photograph will appear! This one is beautiful with the amazing sky colors and the textures. Love it. TFS

Hi Emma.
You managed to see and picture a very nice sky shot. Colour palette, texture of the clouds, sharpness of the image are simply amazing. I also like excellent horizontal cropping. Picture is looked as panoramic shot. The tree is located and looked perfectly too. Wonderful art picture. My compliments and best wishes.
Alexei.

Hi Emma
The tree looks great here against the beautiful sky, it breaks up the sky and creates a bit more interest. The colours are rich and vivid and the detail is great. Nicely done.

Hi Emma,
I really don't mind seeing your tree again. It sure makes for some awesome shots. The sky in this shot is really wonderful, with its different layers of colors and the different shapes of clouds. A very simple but powerful composition. I am not sure what these 4 little bright dots are on the landscape part of the photo, but I think that taking them out would be good.

Niek

Hej Emma!
It's amazing, if an artist would made a painting that looked like this it would probebly end up as a close to nothing art in a fliemarket. But.. as a photo it keep fashinating, stunning us
maybe it's the freezed sequens of an meditation that we longing for.
about the Photo; Its a bit edge along the treehorizon, I like those diagonal clouds that braeks up the skypattern.

Hi Emma, what an amazing sky with such strong colour and formation. In all my outings I have hoped to meet a sky like this on location but have never been lucky or fortunate. Well maybe these skies lay a head of me (oh Scotland please!). Very fine capture and your tree is an important part of the composition. I am not one for taking pictures of skies if there is nothing to put in them. I remember one night there was such a sky that half the street was out with their cameras and my wife ran to get me. I just went out and observed the beauty of it much to everyone puzzlement. I always like to see a little detail in the shadows but I understand you had no tripod so a second exposure was not possible. Very nice work..

That's an incredible sunset! I think we all have our favorite trees... mine are in the New Forest, just one of those "special places".

Hello Emma
Indeed - very simple but powerful composition.
I love the colurs of the sky and the clouds structure.
You're right about them - they play almost a crucial role in most compositions. Hopefully here in UK they are very often nothing but amazing.
I agree with Niek about getting rid of those red dots - but it's just a tiny little correction.
Very nice photo, panoramic format works great here.

Hello Emma,
It is a lovely oak and I know exactly how you feel..! I also have a small handful of trees I photograph quite regularly...
This scenery is well framed, even if the sky is given dominance this time, great details and fine colours!
