The urban robin has so many choices. Do I dig in the window box for escaped mealworms? Do I have a bit of suet cake or should I go up there to the hanging mealworm feeder?
Not a lovely background to be sure. Having set the camera next to the window, to see what kind of shots were available I walked away for a cup of coffee, leaving the camera on and the remote cable attached. When I returned the robin was pecking away in the window box. I quietly retrieved the remote and started clicking away. Had no idea what f/stop or shutter speed was set. Could only hope for something decent. The robin is quite a character and I like this "Hmmm.. should I go up there?" pose... I just wish the DOF could have been better. The ISO was set at 400.
