[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Atlantic Puffin with its no extremely graceful silhouette and its clown face is, nevertheless, one of the most gratifying species for the photographer when visiting the cliffs and coastal burrows in the spring. Even although my lens is not particularly good finding and maintaining a focus point on movile subjects some of the pictures of these coloured bullets resulted well and were then like trophys for me.
In the UK is time for the puffin to find its burrow and starting the breeding season. Is important not to disturb their endless task of going from sea to burrow and an adequate position not so close to the nests is convenient (we are but just mere visitants of their last secular homes)
The shot was taken like a clay-pigeon sesion with my D200, Sigma 80-400, ISO400, 1/3200, f5.6

Hello Carlos,
wonderful capture. I remembered how fast these birds can fly near the cliffs. Well exposed against the milky(?)sky.
cheers , Jacob

GOOD JOB even if not very strong sharp but in flight it's not easy
bravo !
aleks ;)

Really nice action shot, Carlos!
