| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
While walking with a fellow TN member through Dewerstone wood on the tip of Dartmoor captured this image. My only problem is the blue rope swing hanging to the left about half way up the image - due to my limited Photoshop abilites dont know how to get rid of it so would be grateful of any suggestions.
Taken in RAW with minor adjustments to contrast and colour tone made. |

Hello Paul,
My eyes may be failing in my old age, but I really can't find anything that seriously detracts from your photograph. I think you have used a great pov, dof, bright colours and have created a nostlgic scene for many who remember hiking and picnicking.
Well done!
Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Lovely peaceful shot. Nice moment caught well with top focus and POV.

This is a very effective composition with the stream leading into the scene and the arch of interesting trees. The image looks a little bit soft to me and has a yellow cast to it. Was that intentional? I did a workshop to show the scene with more "natural"? color. Of course I use a Mac and you probably use a PC so what we each sees is slightly altered.

Hi Mate,
lovely shot, somehow looks strangely familiar... ;o)

Hi Paul,
This is really a wonderful view. What a stunning looking river and what an area to explore. I do have to agree with Evelynn on the softness, but I feel she overdone the sharpness on her WS. In regards of the blue rope, you can clone it away.

Niek

Hi Paul
Lovely frame created by the trees, lovely light and colours. Excellent POV. I can't see any distractions

I'm having trouble finding the rope? Like the scene though and by placing yourself within the water, so to speak, offers a more dynamic and interesting landscape.
