[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I am posting this third Kingfisher picture as it shows the iridescent feathering down it's back. This is what we see as it flies along the rivers and streams. Taken from the Eric Morecambe hide on a dull day. The grey sky reflected in the water behind the bird not doing much to enhance the photo. It does'nt distract from the Kingfisher though.
Camera settings: - ISO 400, AV, Spot metering, 2x converter, 1200mm focal length, remote shutter cord.

Wow Peter, this is the best of 3! Its a beautiful shot. Colour and luminosity on the featers is magnificent. Wonderful profile and great pov. Great detail and good textures, just superb all round. Such a beautiful bird.
