Frog spotted during a walk to Ben Ledi, near the town of Callander.
It was taking some spring sun, probably coming out of hibernation.
Although I am Frenchman, I don't know the kind of this specie. Let me know if you do.

Hi Damien.
Sorry I cannot help with identification, I do know frogs are inclined to alter colour to where they are resting, as does our southern bell frog. Though he is always green that can change to a green brown if he is under a log. So if you are looking up identification books, keep in mind there might be a slight difference in colour if he has just come out of hibernation.
Wonderful shot, pin sharp, good depth of feild and really stands out on those grey stones nicely.
