Although Annick is correct about the imperfect lighting conditions, this is a near-perfect macro picture. The detail on the damselfly is sublime. Your DOF was spot-on and the BG as well. I like it very much.

Sharpness and clarity in this wonderful macro image with very beautiful colors are excellent Nicholas.

Hello Nick,
Fine capture of a male C. splendens. This is pretty sharp, with pleasing neautral green BG and set in an excellent composition.
The slightly excessive light reflection on the wings is counteracted by the other fine qualities of this image.
