Hi Joe,
We don't get these beauties here in NZ so its always a pleasure to see them on TN
Theres a currant clearwing moth here, but that looks more like a wasp or fly.
A nice capture. Good colour and exposure.
Cheers, Steve

Hello Joe !
This is such a beautiful butterfly ! I love the translucent wings so much ! Excellent details, beautiful colors (except on the head whre the picture is a bit OE), wonderful composition and a nice blurred BG which makes your subject stand out nicely. Very well done !

Hi Joe,
Subject wise a very beautiful butterfly with transparent wings. I came to know about this from TN. Capture wise POV should have been better. Focus is excellent. Very good lighting and colors. Thanks a lot for sharing.

The butterfly is very sharp and so beautiful. You have caught the "see-through" wings! I was not aware they existed. TN is a wonderful resource.

Hi Joe
I have only seen these in butterfly houses, never in the wild. Excellent DOF. The dark green BG sets the butterfly off well. Nicely sharp and well framed

This is a beautiful capture Joey! I would be much impressed if I could see this specie "in real" :) Its wings look like wind surf’s sails (voiles) :) This is very well done with good details and superb POV. Thanks,
Claudine

The clarity in this one is superb as well. I try not to let light dominate the original colors and create an OE result. On this particular image I would of increased the shutter speed so that it allowed less light in protecting the lighter areas. But regardless your doing great Joey, this is a fantastic picture of the glass-winged butterfly. I've seen these in the wild in south America. :)
