The eye is black on the black, isn't too good IMO. Maybe I don't like so bold black border. :)

nice compostion with the tall grass fading into the distance. a little more contrast and some sharpening might be nice

Hi Peter While I agree about canada geese being beautifull bird in your statement I don't believe they are a pest, they seem to adapt well to our environment and take little from the land I believe we humans are the biggest pests to the environment :-( lovely image tfs rgds Necip

Hi Peter, very nice setting for this Canada Goose. Nicely composed in the grass. It is a shame they are a problem as I find them very attractive. Good light and colour range in this shot and nice and sharp. Very well focused with excellent dof.
