Hello Robert,
Very nice bird portrait in wich I like the feather details and color contrast between the red color on the head of the crane and pleasing soft green color tones in the background very much.
Exposure is spot on and composition very good.
Would love to have seen a little more color saturation, sharpness and contrast though.
Nevertheless wonderful shot.

perfectly clear image, excellently composed. Delightfully subtle colour contrasts of grey and red against an almost uniformly mossy green background make the image look very artistic.

As portrait fan, I like very much this one!
It's so good the colours got here: the orange of the eye, so close to the red at the top of the head, what a combination!
I like also the tension showed on that turned neck for the pose.

Very beautiful shot Rob. Until I saw this shot of yours I didn't know there was a hole through the top of their beak. Your detail and colour are excellent, the composition works well too. Love that eye. Very nice.

Striking image. The red “beret” it is wearing stands out well on the thumbnail.
Is it a Jewish bird.( Ha- ha) it looks like those little doily’s they have on their heads.

I can see right through it’s beak, and I notice a small piece of green of the background. Thank you for sharing this photo with us. Very good portrait. I like the workshop Harry has done.
