A male Blackbird from December 2006 this time. Hope you like it.
--------------------------
The Blackbird (Turdus merula) is a common garden and woodland bird, spending the majority of its time on the ground looking for worms and other insects. They are also partial to seeds and berries. Male & female birds are quite distinct, the male being uniformly black whilst the female is more brown in colour. |

Hello Clarke and welcome to TN.
Excellent exposure with very nice detail in the black plumage. Nice & sharp with very good DOF, POV, color, and BG. The FG twig is so out of focus it detracts little..Well composed, with just the right amount of space around the bird.
Very well done.
