What a wonderful composition, Paul! I love the impact of it. The angles jutting into the scene are super. One has to love that lens. There is something a little unnatural about the light which is hard to put a finger on. I get it too on occasion. I was told by those who should know at my photo store, that it is due to using a grad in combo with the polarizer. They say never stack filters on a digital camera. Who knows?? I do it. They even said to remove the UV before using the polarizer. It requires a bit more discipline than I sometimes have. : P

Hi Paul,
Exquisite scene and you have captured the atmosphere and the mood brilliantly. Amazing rock layers and formations and the blue sky with the woolly sky looks fabulous. The sheen on the water from the ray of the sun gives a glamorous effect. Excellent POV and DOF here. Very nocely composed. Kudos.

A school example to composition, splendid 1/3 sky and 2/3 rock and sea together.

This part of the coastline was not in the guidebooks that *I* saw in the B&B in Bournemouth. And if it is that difficult to get to, I owe you double thanks for sharing this photo -- a beautiful view of a remote place that the majority of us will never see!

Hi Paul,
Great work on the composition and on getting onto the edge. Landscape photography does make you work for a good position. Great work on the lines to lead the eye into the photo. The rocks further into the scene do act as perfect stepping stones to go even further into the photo. Light and colors look fine to me. The reflection for the cloud on the ocean is really nice. The fact that you can see that the earth's crust is moving is very obvious with the diagonal positioned rocks.

Hi Paul,

Wow mate what can I say - so many amazing shots coming out of your EOS at the moment! I had to pick one to compliment, so, whilst sitting at work having my lunch what could be more appropriate than "bacon hole" :-)

Cracking shot, great composition and feeling of depth and "teetering on the edge"! Wonderful bit of coast - I need to explore the Dorset coast more, love it down there.

All your other shots are amazing too but I haven't got time to compliment them all individually - all I'll say is keep up the wonderful work!
