Hi Silke,

Love me, love me not. That's what I think of when I see a Daisy. And I haven't seen a live one since I came to Tucson! Lovely shot with wonderful colors and fine details. Shows up magnificently against the background.

I love daisies, Silke, and this one is a beauty.
My first post on TN was of a very tiny flower which resembled a daisy.
Very well composed and "cheerful" shot.

I must say I rather like these in the lawn and tend to leave them but they do spread! I like your macro, very sharp details and fine colours that stand out against the dark background.

Hi Silke,
long live the Common Daisy, no matter whether it is regarded a weed by some people or not. Nicely portrayed in well shaping light, well showing the fragility of the blossom.
In Europe, we also have a number of flowering plants that are just recent arrivers invading our local flora, e.g. a very pretty and large yellow Solidago from Canada, most of them seemingly welcome here, to local forest authorities as well as to butterflies. Genetically manipulated corn in the neighborhood is certainly much more of a threat to ecology than Common Daisies.

Hello Silke

One persons weed is another persons flower.I have purchased this flower at the nursery for my back garden in the past.It is not indigenous to this area,and makes a lovely addition to the border.The local ox-eye daisy which grows wild even has a home here.I like the composition of the shot ,with one flower in focus and the other in the OOF BG.The lighting is very good and the colours are well saturated.Very nice sharp detail on the daisy.TFS

Hi Silke,
Wonderful shot of this beautiful Daisy with superb exposure and clear details. The focus is sharp on the flower and the lighting is fabulous. The OOF flower presents a good depth and the darkish BG highlights the white flower pretty well. Excellent POV to portray it and very nicely composed. Kudos.

I like that we can see the specks of pollen on the petals. The white is well done - it's a hard color to photograph. You positioned the main subject off to one side just like we're supposed to! ;) Looks good.
