This is turning out to be a very unusual Autumn in UK. Firstly we have a very good year for berries of all sorts; the hedges and trees are laden with fruits of all sorts. Secondly, we have late flowering of a number of shrubs that you don't really expect to see at this time.
My domestic Wisteria is flowering for the third time and out walking yesterday I came acroos wild brambles which had both mature blackberries on them but also a second flowering of beautiful white blooms.
Also in the hedgerow, I found some late-flowering honeysuckle (Lonicera periclymenum), including this lovely, multicoloured blossom.
