I found this lone flower in a hedge near my home today. I could not find it in my wild flower book, so perhaps it has escaped from someone's garden.
I was struck by the huge number of colours in the heart of the flower, including the shiny blue stars in the centre, with black/orange stars outside.
I would be grateful for any help in identification.
Resized and sharpened a little in CS3 , with the whole flower inset for context. |
