Perfectly lighted excellent portrait of a Barn Owl Joe, details of the plumage and of the huge eyes are quite nice, one can also discern some hint on the asymmetry of the white face feathers. Good work indeed!

Hello Joe,
The incredible sharpness and detail really gives us a good insight into the external structure of a Barn Owl, thanks to your fine camera work. We can see the potential camouflage colours, the dish-shape of the face to home in on rodent sounds, the sharp eyes to help in spotting the prey at night, the tight feather construction to make the flight silent.
All wonderful to see, even if this is a captive bird.
