Overview
The UK's favourite bird - with its bright red breast it is familar throughout the year and especially at Christmas! Males and females look identical, and young birds have no red breast and are spotted with golden brown. Robins sing nearly all year round and despite their cute appearance, they are aggressively territorial and are quick to drive away intruders. They will sing at night next to street lights.

Across the UK in woodland, hedgerows, parks and gardens.

When to see them
All year round.

What they eat
Worms, seeds, fruits and insects.

Nice shot of this little chap, looks like a pose from a greetings card. Have been trying to get a shot of a Robin recently but cant get it right, you did not seem to have that problem though.

Superb shot of the Robin, very nicely composed with a great POV and DOF, good pose with excellent eye contact, the feather detail is nice and sharp and well saturated colours with a very good OOF BG.

Beautiful close-up shot of this lovely Robin.
Colors and details are wonderful and so is the catchlight in the eye of the bird.
Sharpness and exposure is excellent wich ws'nt easy in this what seems harsh sunlight.
