What a perfect profile shot Necip, the detail of the neck feathers is astounding, that orange eye, perfect, and that pinkish bill, well, no need to count every point, this really is a beautiful capture!

I remember the in flight Coot. Awesome. And there are other examples in your portfolio. I wonder...do you have somebody helping you.
Almost forgotten..this is a wonderful Nile goose image. I think the 300 is better concerning sharpness then the 400 with the same MarkIII.

Hi Necip,

You've done it again showing us a great portrait image of one of the birds at Stockers lake.
The more I see, the more I would like to come over for some time to have a change to shoot all those wonderful ducks, goose and birds to :)

love the details and texture of the feathers by the head and neck, the eye is as clear as ever and the very close up pov bringing the bird literally in-your-face away from the bg...:).

Hi Necip, haven't been around for a bit si I thought I would drop in and say hi. Nice shot of the bird here. Wonderful colors. Good clarity and detail. Sometimes we fuss over the whole bird not being in focus but I do like the dof here very much. The blur on the wing brings our attention to his head without any distraction. Background works very well as well. So I see you've got a 1D Mark III now. Good work...thanks.
