| this dragonfly did not really work as a colour shot the blur and exposure was all wrong, but turning it into bl/wh gave it a real mystical mood he looks positively dazzled. i know i won't get marks for creativity but i have to try, sorry. |

Hello Sue,
I don't think I've ever seen a black and white image of a Dragonfly before, I think it works well. It does add a certain quality but I can't put my finger on it (I know that's not very helpful :-)) As you say it looks like the exposure was off with some burnt highlights but the black and white goes some way to lessening the impact, that's a lesson learnt for me today. A good composition too, well balanced. Nice work.
